Avril Johnnidis is a vegan chef  and holistic health educator in Miami, who loves to share her love of life and creativity through healthy, delicious, beautiful food. She cooks with organic, plant-based, allergen-free, whole ingredients (no gluten, no soy unless fermented, no processed sugar, no peanuts, and no animal products of any kind). 
She also believes in growing as much of one's own food as possible, and does so in her own home with a hydroponic garden tower. Her connection with the earth, animals, and natural elements is what brought her to a plant-based diet, what provides her with vibrant health and plenty of energy, and what nourishes her spirit and the food she prepares.

She incorporates many elements from her experiences to create the perfect vegan dishes. After gaining a degree from Harvard University, she began another education in the East, becoming certified as a Hatha Yoga teacher, and training in Thai Massage, Vipassana Meditation, Qi Gong, Reiki, and Permaculture. She has lived, worked, and studied on organic farms in 5 different countries, and especially loves introducing city-dwellers to connecting with nature. 

Currently, Avril cooks privately in the homes of Miami-based clients, has a 7-day vegan cleanse meal-delivery service once a month, offers vegan cooking classes, holistic health counseling, and is the Co-Chef and Director of Operations of Love & Vegetables, a vegan dinner series and pop-up community cafe in Miami.

Vegan Personal Chef Service
*An initial consultation to identify your health goals and taste preferences and create the perfect personalized meal plan.

*Weekly or bi-weekly meals prepared by Chef Avril in your home and stored in your refrigerator to last the next several days. 

*Meals consist of 4 plant-based dishes (4-6 servings each), which can include any combination of main/soup/salad/dessert/snack.

*Service starts at $300 +groceries for two people and includes customized menu planning (and adjustments after your review), grocery shopping, cooking, packaging (glass containers preferable), and kitchen clean-up. 

*All dietary requirements can be met: gluten/soy/peanut/oil-free, and Chef Avril recommends buying all-organic ingredients.

Chef Avril also caters Dinner Parties, Romantic Dinners for Two, Buffet-Style Meals, Brunches, and Special Events.

Want to learn how to create delicious and nutritious meals? Learn how to incorporate truly healing foods in to your diet, how to soak and sprout nuts and legumes, how to eat gluten-free, how to transition to a vegan lifestyle and live a healthy, balanced, and fit life. Get a small group of friends together and Chef Avril will come to your home and share all of that AND hands-on teaching to prepare together beautiful plant-based dishes. A fun and informative way to spend an afternoon and you get to eat everything you've helped create!​
